Asked
and answered.

The questions we hear most before a project starts. If yours isn't here, call — we answer that too.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We're a licensed Tarion builder for residential homes, certified installers of the Legalett heated floor system, and fully insured on every site we run.

What areas do you serve?

We're based at 3048 Pitt St. in Cornwall, Ontario, and we build throughout Cornwall, South Glengarry, Martintown and the surrounding Eastern Ontario region. Not sure if you're in range? Ask — the answer is usually yes.

What types of projects do you take on?

All four sectors of general contracting: residential (custom homes, renovations, additions), commercial (storefronts, offices, fit-ups), industrial and agricultural (barns and farm buildings) — plus full construction project management on every job.

How do I get a quote?

Three ways: call 613-932-0480, email info@rayjansconstruction.com, or use the quote form. Tell us what you're planning — plans and sketches help, but an idea is enough to start the conversation.

What warranty comes with a new home?

As a licensed Tarion builder, our new residential homes are enrolled in Ontario's Tarion new home warranty program — it protects your deposit and covers defects in work and materials as defined by the program. We handle the enrollment and paperwork.

What is a Legalett heated floor?

It's an engineered slab-on-grade foundation with radiant heating cast directly into the concrete — the insulated slab is frost-protected and the whole floor becomes a quiet, even radiator. We're certified installers; the full story is on our Legalett page.

Who will I actually deal with during the build?

The owners. Ray Brunet runs your project in the field and Gary Jans runs it on paper. One phone number reaches the people whose names are on the company — see who we are.
